Pros: 20gb, FM tuner, Voice record, sleek, touch sensor
Cons: smudgy mirror front,no case that you can buy
Review: i bought this thing on Ebay and i was unsure of the quality of it. it was relatively easy to use and and it holds 5,000+ songs! Playlists are a bit confusing at first but really helpful. The FM tuner and voice record both work great and the FM is ...

Pros: Design, touch pad, sound, recording capabilities, price, appears as hard-drive.
Cons: Documentation really not ready for the impatient or inexperienced. Too sensitive touch-pad.
Review: I was very disappointed when I first tried this recorder/player. Then, after going to the MPIO website, I spent quite a while trying to find and learn how to upgrade the firmware and downloading a readable manual, my opinion changed. It has all the ...

Pros: size, price, design, touch-sensitive keys and scrolling function
Cons: software glitch causes player to freez up frequently
Review: The HD300 looks sleek, is competitive in terms of price and size with the over-rated ipod, but I found that the unit freezes up frequently. I have had to push the reset button on the unit numerous times. I just got the HD300 and I probably still ...

Pros: Some neat features, radio, nice design.
Cons: Nice design does not always make up for lackluster functionality.
The Bottom Line: This is not for your average user, you need to be pretty sophisticated to use this.
Review: I received the Mpio HD-300 as a gift, primarily because it was not an iPod, and the hope was that it was better than the mainstream product. It, unfortunately, was not. Oh, sure, there are some great features about the product, but a number of ...

Pros: FM Tuner, Line-in recording, same size as IPOD, pretty, great sound quality, external HD
Cons: Slow menus, bad scrolling, no documentation or support, pained playlist creation
The Bottom Line: Great concept, but doesn't deliver. Give it some documentation, good software to use with it, and some support and this thing would be fantastic.
Review: All in all, the MPIO HD300 is a pretty good player. When looking at it on paper, it seems unstoppable. FM Tuner, Line-in recording, same size/weight as an IPOD, good looking, great sound quality, external hard drive functionality. It definitely has ...

Pros: Looks, robustness, Sound, external HD and good FM reception.
Cons: the Manual, their Internet Site, lack of Firmware updates, absence of support, upgrade utility
The Bottom Line: MPIO has developped a good piece of hardware, but supplies a really bad piece of software with it. That turns the device into an hard-to-handle monster.
Review: I bought a HD300 a week ago. It seemed to have everything i wanted: FM radio 20 GB drive (working on USB as an external HD) clear menu structure and so on. I went home after buying it and decided to read the manual completely. Just to ...
